A new group will start Wednesday September 10, 2025
It is finally here: an Artist’s Way course in Amsterdam for the international community.
The Artist’s Way has inspired millions of people worldwide to pursue their creative dreams. Do you want to make time for your creativity, experience more inspiration in your everyday life and convert your dreams into achievable steps?
The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron
The Artist’s Way provides tools, exercises, and guidance to help people break free from self-doubt and creative blocks. Participating in an Artist’s Way course can be a life-changing experience. Creativity enriches our lives in so many ways, it is a vital component of the human experience for everyone, not only for artists.
More Focus, More Creativity, More Resilience
The book The Artist’s Way has a magical structure. In twelve chapters, it gradually reveals how to harness creativity in all aspects of your life. The topics flow into each other, creating a natural progression.

Artist’s Way Course: Why It Works
The Artist’s Way creates space for new ideas—ideas that you then translate into small daily steps. All those ‘small’ changes together lead to a significant shift: from feeling rushed to feeling inspired, from being a victim to becoming an adventurer. You learn to see anger as a source of power and jealousy as a guide to your deepest desires. You learn to deal with your inner critis and to be your own friendly coach.
Morning Pages & Artist’s Dates
Three handwritten pages daily (the Morning Pages), create clarity on what truly matters to you and what you wish to change. Weekly excursions (the Artist Dates) offer fresh inspiration and help you discover what energizes you. Each chapter includes short exercises that provide insights and challenge you.

Learning Together is More Fun
In the fifteen years that I have been teaching, I’ve learned that doing the Artist’s Way in a group is more enjoyable and more effective. It makes it easier to persist, even during challenging times. The professional guidance provides attention to each participant and much-needed lightness in this intensive journey.
For me, The Artist’s Way allowed me to tackle my inner critic. I started drawing what I found enjoyable and beautiful.
Nynke Kuipers, writer, illustrator
The Artist’s Way gave me confidence in writing my own lyrics; I started performing again, released a CD, and published a book.
Marlous Lazal, singer, radio maker
Participants in my Artist’s Way course come from all walks of life (ages 25 to 75) and various professions. Not just artists and writers, but also hairdressers, psychologists, musicians, philosophers, and consultants have greatly benefited.
